BAOBEI — PRIVACY POLICY

Baobei is a baby-tracking app that lets caregivers log and share a baby's
feeds, sleep, and diaper changes. This policy explains what we collect and how
it's used. We keep it minimal on purpose.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
- Account information: your email address, used only to sign you in and sync
  your data across your devices.
- Baby activity you enter: the feeds, sleep, naps, diaper changes, locations,
  and notes you log, plus the baby's name and (optionally) birthdate.
- An account identifier assigned to your login.

We do NOT collect location data, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or
usage analytics. The app contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

HOW WE USE IT
Your information is used solely to provide the app: to store your baby's logs
and sync them between the people you've invited. We do not sell your data, and
we do not use it for advertising or for tracking you across other apps or
websites.

SHARING
Data for a baby is visible only to the people you invite to that baby — a
partner with full access, a friend or grandparent with view-only access, or a
babysitter using a temporary 24-hour code. We do not share your data with
anyone else.

WHERE IT'S STORED
Data is stored securely using Supabase, our hosting and database provider, and
is protected with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access
is restricted by per-user security rules.

DATA RETENTION & DELETION
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your
account and all associated data at any time from inside the app: Settings →
Account → Delete account. This takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
If a baby you created is shared with someone else who has full access, that
baby's log passes to them rather than being deleted; otherwise it is erased
along with your account. You can also email the address below and we'll remove
it for you.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Baobei is intended for use by parents and caregivers (adults). It is not
directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from
children.
